Jeremy, I might be the wrong guy to be testing "upstream kernels" as I am brand new to Linux. I have only my imagination to go on as to what an "upstream kernel" is. I don't know how to get it and certainly not how to compile it, if thats what I will need to do.
If you still want me to do this I am going to need some more direction.
