To test the fix in lucid-proposed, after upgrading to it follow these steps: * make sure gwibber-service has restarted, "killall gwibber-service gwibber" * tail -f ~/.cache/gwibber/gwibber.log * launch gwibber as usual * watch the tail of that log file, let gwibber refresh once and make a note of your refresh interval * let a couple minutes pass and manually refresh (ctrl-r) and watch it in the log * let a couple more minutes pass and force a manual refresh again * after that refresh finishes, just wait and let it automatically refresh a couple times * look at the time displayed in the lines that say "Starting refresh", the ones you let automatically refresh should be roughly the same interval you have configured, if so this fix does what it is meant to do.
