Confirmed fresh install on vmware with Ubuntu Server edition 10.0.4 for
x86.
The default config file does indeed spew an error into the log file.
After editing it doesnt give the error any more but doesnt redirect anything
either.
I also have switched from the stock kernel to a "-virtual" kernel.
I can ping all addresses from the server so its not a networking issue.
I disabled the firewall.
