Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

When keyboard layout set to different from USA in gnome-terminal don't
work Ctrl-C to stop bash script.

I have russian as main keyboard layout and USA as second. I open gnome-
terminal, switch to USA layout, run script (or just ping) and press
Ctrl-C. In terminal print 'c' letter and don't stop script.

** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
