Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mondo
[Please reference support case 00012691 for additional details.] The versions of mondo and mindi available in the Ubuntu 10.04 Software Center (and synpatic) failed on two different, new installs of 10.04. After a great deal of googling I found that I needed to uninstall the Ubuntu versions and install the versions from the ftp.mondorescue.org repository, per: http://trac.mondorescue.org/wiki/FAQ#Q11DoesmondoworkwithDebianUbuntudistributions Q11/ Does mondo work with Debian/Ubuntu distribution? After that, both mondo and mindo worked perfectly on both systems.
