Hi Imre, thanks for taking the time to create this bug report and help
us make Ubuntu better.

The file, /etc/default/squid, is actually quite misleading, as
SQUID_MAXFD is also specified but never used in /etc/init/squid.conf

Retitling to suggest that the entire file be reviewed, and that the
instructions in README.Debian be reviewed and possibly patched to
accurately describe how the file is used.
