Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: sensors-applet
1) lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
Release: 10.10
2) apt-cache policy sensors-applet
sensors-applet:
Installed: 2.2.5-4ubuntu1
Candidate: 2.2.5-4ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 2.2.5-4ubuntu1 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/universe i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3) What I expected is after I install sensors-applet, then run:
sudo sensors-detect
restart the computer, right click top panel and click Hardware Sensors
Monitor then click Add it shows my detected sensors.
4) What happens instead is that after I do this the GUI panel icon notes
"No sensors found!". However, before I upgraded to Maverick, sensors-
applet displayed sensors following the above mentioned process with no
problem.
