Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: indicator-datetime

Using dconf-editor to tweak the indicator, the label doesn't shrink
after you add some additional items, such as day or date, and revert to
initial setup

# Steps to reproduce
 * install dconf-tool package
 * start dconf-editor
 * change /apps/indicator/datetime/show-date from FALSE to TRUE (the label
change from "hh:mm" to "MMM dd, hh:mm")
 * revert the key to FALSE

# Current result
 The needed space added to show the day is not "removed" from indicator label,
but here is padding on left and right
