I installed ubuntu about 2 weeks ago. Since then I have had this weird
problem. Randomly while I am doing something Ubuntu freezes. I couldn't
detect a pattern which would give an idea of what could be causing it.
The screen just goes blank and pressing ctrl-alt-del does not help. I
have to power off the system and restart it.

Ubuntu crashes randomly. The monitor goes blank and there is no response to
