Public bug reported: The touchpad is not working at all on my new Sony Vaio VPCF12S1E laptop. I have tested this with live CD for 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) and a 10.10 beta release CD. I downloaded both CD's yesterday.
According to windows the touchpad has an ALPS touchpad. This guy seems to have a similar problem with this laptop and fedora 13: http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=249230 I'd be happy to give any additional information and do testing for you. How do I upload apport-files? Which terminal commands should I run to give you additional info? ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Touchpad not found on Sony Vaio VPCF12S1E https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/636842 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
