I'm sorry - since my last complaint, I have fixed the problem. Just in case anyone else made the same foolish mistake as me... on the 'Output' tab in 'Sound Preferences', 'Internal Audio Analog Stereo' needs to be selected, and under 'Settings for the selected device', 'Connector' has to be set to 'Analog Speakers': it will not work if set to either 'Analog Headphones' or 'Analog Output'.
(And for the record, may I please just add the sound quality on these built-in speakers is rubbish.) -- [Compaq CQ62, SSID 103c:1425] No sound from Internal Laptop speakers https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/571165 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
