Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon
Upon login, a box titled 'Out of space', which has the following words: 'Your
Ubuntu One storage is full. Follow the link below to upgrade your
subscription.' appears and disappears rapidly (i.e. it 'flashes') for
approximately 20 seconds. I have not found a way to stop this process. Other
things to note are:
- My ubuntu one storage space is indeed full (ideally I need to be only told
this once).
- I have a seperate partition which I mount as my /home directory (the idea
being I can install system files in a different partition to make installing a
new release easier).
- The reason for thinking this has something to do with 'gnome-settings-daemon'
is this was the process that was most intensive on the CPU (with nothing else
being opened).
- The process stays on top even when other programs are opened.
