Public bug reported: After an update my internal mic stopped working. I tried Arecord and Skype. Both not working. I tried reinstalling and purging all drivers according to the Comprehensive sound guide on Ubuntuforums but still no luck. Pulseaudio is not installed just running Alsa drivers.
I have a intel AD1984 internal mic on a lenovo thinkpad x61 When I bring up internal channel on alsamixer I can hear the mic on my speakers. After I then try to Arecord bla.wav and then play it once again no sound. Please let me know which info I need to provide and the steps how to get it and I will do so!
