Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: modemmanager

In my maverick beta installation, my 3G USB card does not work. It is a HUAWEI
E1692 model.
After latest updates, a crash appears for modemmanager, but it cannot be
tracked.
The additional SD card which is in the card, is properly mounted, but the
read-only partition (the one in which the installation files are contained) is
not.
I cannot even run the program to manage the connection (a proprietary one from
the installation partition) from the menu.
