Hmm, I still can't figure out what actually makes the sink unlink. Perhaps a backtrace could help. If you're up for helping - and this may take some time for you as well - can you try reproduce a backtrace:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace First disable autospawn and kill pulseaudio. Also, before you do the "run" command in gdb, run the "break pa_sink_unlink" command. When gdb breaks at this point, make a backtrace and attach.
