Public bug reported:
I'm trying to get my TerraTec Cinergy C DVB-C card working on Lucid Lynx. Following the instructions on http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/How_to_install_DVB_device_drivers doesn't work. On this page there is a comment specifically about incorrect packaging of the kernel used in Ubuntu. The workaround mentioned concerning Firedtv doesn't work, though. The package builds, but my card is still not recognized. On earlier versions of Karmic this worked and the card was recognized. "make install" on later versions of Karmic caused a complete freeze at boot. I recently tried tried installing the V4L module on Debian stable and afterwords Debian wouldn't boot either. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- v4l doesn't build correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/637170 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
