I just tried it: - With "Independent HP" Off, plugging the headphone mutes the "Front" slider, so nothing can be heard - With "Independent HP" On, plugging the headphone does not mute anything, so the sound goes through the speakers and not the headphone. Interesting to note that with "Independent HP" On the headphone slider is no longer grayed out, so I can adjust it but it does not change anything.
