Thanks for this report, and sorry it's sat unexamined for so long.
If you still have the any of your old straw configuration files
installed, please could you:
1) attach the file ~/.straw/itemstore.db (if you still have it, and if it is a
reasonable size)
2) try removing (or, better, renaming) the entire ~/.straw directory; will
straw then run?
