The attached DpkgTerminalLog.txt contains numerous error messages, many
of them for known problems. However, several of these errors are not
possible to diagnose without further information from you.
Quoting DpkgTerminalLog.txt:
> !! Byte-compilation for emacs-snapshot failed!
> !! This indicates a bug in one of the add-on packages
> !! installed on your system, or a bug in Emacs itself.
> !! Please file a bug report against emacs-snapshot
> !! and attach the file /tmp/emacs-snapshot.t6oQIN
If you still have this file on your system, please attach it to this bug
report. If it is no longer on your system, you can probably trigger the
same problem again by attempting to reinstall emacs-snapshot. Look near
the end of /var/log/apt/term.log for the name of the file to attach (you
will need sudo/root access to view the log file).
Similarly, these older files could be useful if you have them:
/tmp/emacs-snapshot.WtSGUy
/tmp/emacs-snapshot.WNfB97
/tmp/emacs-snapshot.Bwc5Hr
/tmp/emacs-snapshot.GeIgq3
/tmp/emacs-snapshot.KA4yN4
/tmp/emacs-snapshot.eoyNyM
I am setting the Status of this bug report to Incomplete to signal that we are
waiting for further information from you. Feel free to set the Status back to
New once you have supplied the requested information. Thank you!
