Public bug reported:

Update manager package (it wouldn`t let write it down so i put I don`t
know)

I have been upgrading since 5.10 to Feisty Fawn herd 5 (trough gsku
"upgrade manager -c")and for some reason I got this message today (could
that be related to some possible wrong update to Feisty Beta upgrade???)
:

------------------------------------------------------------
An unresolvable problem occurred while initialising the package information.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include
the following error message:

'E:Could not open file /var/cache/apt/srcpkgcache.bin - open (13 Permission
denied), E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.'
-------------------------------------------------------------
I also changed some permission as root (on recovery mode) so my normal user
could access
some files as superuser (should it affect anything at all?)
