Binary package hint: compiz
The crash occurred after installing 'gnome-compiz-manager' with apt-get,
then clicking the "GL Desktop" icon in gnome-control-center. The crash
was in 'compiz.real'. After the crash, compiz effects were disabled,
and further attempts to reenable effects with the "Desktop Effects"
control center icon caused the same crash.
