Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gdm
For some reason /etc/gdm/Init/Default (where I put an "xrandr -s
1280x960" long ago, so I get a readable login) wasn't used any more
after the last gdm upgrade. So I purged and reinstalled the package, and
on the next X start this error came up.
