Workaround: adding the lines
+hide-accept-language{en-US}
+hide-user-agent{...}
in /etc/privoxy/match-all.action configuration file instead of
/etc/privoxy/default.action
configuration file gives the desired result.
Why to have these (commented) lines in the default.action file then?
