I immediately turned off my WLAN switch for testing purposes. Installed successfully. Open Adobe Acrobat via commandline, Acrobat.exe crashes after clicking Edit -> Preferences. Happens everytime the app is opened. Based on the CLI output, looks like it is related to the WLAN not being on, but it should not crash the app!? lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Release: 10.04 apt-cache policy wine1.2 wine1.2: Installed: 1.2~rc7-0ubuntu2 Candidate: 1.2~rc7-0ubuntu2 Version table: *** 1.2~rc7-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.1.42-0ubuntu4 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages Reply at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/wine/+bug/607562/comments/0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On 2010-07-15T20:31:41+00:00 rusivi1 wrote: Created an attachment (id=29623) Screenshot of crash Reply at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/wine/+bug/607562/comments/1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On 2010-07-15T20:40:18+00:00 Jeffz wrote: The output from the crash is missing, you should acknowledge the crash dialog. I did acknowledge the crash dialog but the debugger does not progress, even after 10 minutes. It just hangs with no more command line output. In System Monitor Adobe.exe is in zombie status. If you believe the debugger is still working I'll let it rip overnight... I tried starting it by changing into the directory then typing wine Acrobat.exe but the same problem happens. When I ran Acrobat for the first time, it hung at the accepting the license. Tried clicking "Accept", "Decline", then "Cancel", none of them move the program forward. I ended the program, then re-ran it and Acrobat console popped up as desired. However, clicked "Edit", then "Preferences", then crashed with backtrace.
