So just so I'm clear, you select a block device other than /dev/sda in
the bootloader combobox, then proceed with manual partitioning. When
the installation completes, however, GRUB is installed to /dev/sda.
Correct?
Can you please run the installer in debug mode (`ubiquity -d` from a
terminal) and run `apport-collect 640088` when the install completes?
