Actually, I think this was mistakenly marked as fix. We used a
workaround on our servers to force clients to use non-streaming
replication, but this is no longer available in couchdb 1.0+. I do not
know why upstream marked the problem as fixed, since the behavior seems
exactly the same in 1.0.1 as it was in 0.9.
