I'm not sure yet. I haven't had the time to go through the whole TroubleShooting guide but I have confirmed that the events are being received. One useful fact that I managed to ascertain was that the whole thing works fine with a proper USB keyboard (no adapter). I managed to get my hands on an adapter made by a different vendor and tried using that but the adapter was not at all working. I will update this bug as I make progress but I'm currently busy and won't be able to look at this till mid October or so.
