Printing from a Ubuntu box with cupsys 1.2.1 worked perfektly. Since
I've been using cupsys 1.2.2 I get the folewing printing result:

** Description changed:

This is a new problem, since a recent upgrade (I think that an upgrade
of the cupsys package was responsible - but it may have been smb-
  common).

Printing from Ubuntu to a shared HP printer on a Windows XP box, using
- the samba protocol now fails. The printing icon is displayed
- temporarily, but no output from the printer. There is no entries in
- /var/log/cups/error_log relating to this error.
+ the samba protocol now fails. It fails also witch Printes who shared
+ with IPP. The printing icon is displayed temporarily, but no output from
+ the printer. There is no entries in /var/log/cups/error_log relating to
+ this error.

When the printer is connected directly to the ubuntu box (and the
settings changed to reflect the new connection of the printer) printing
  works perfectly.

  Using cupsys v1.2.1-0ubuntu2 and smb-common v3.0.22-1ubuntu3.1
