Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
Not sure if this is a bug with firefox, compiz, or gnome-panel, but firefox is the only app where I see this behavior. Sometimes firefox will exhibit this weird behavior: 1) Firefox appears to freeze, so I close it. The firefox entry in the taskbar remains. 2) Thinking it minimized, I click the entry in the taskbar. Nothing happens. I can deselect and reselect it again, however. 3) Turns out that it thinks firefox is maximized but isn't showing anything. I'm looking at my desktop but if i right-click, I get the firefox right-click context menu. 4) I can close the taskbar entry by right clicking -> close. Running compiz on feisty beta. A screenshot is attached - this is what i see, but if i right-click I get the firefox right-click context menu. I'm not sure what else to provide, but I'll be happy to give you whatever you'd need.
