Hello again.
I just tested the Bluetooth functionality on Ubuntu 10.10. Good news!
The laptop can now detect my phone and connect to it successfully. I can
also send files to the phone without any issues.
The output of hcitool scan is also okay:
Scanning ...
F4:FC:32:95:C5:61 HTC26
