Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
After upgrading from Lucid, my workspace switcher applet will only
display in a single row, and appears stretched in my vertical panel (see
attachment).
If I switch to a horizontal panel, a single row appears correctly but I
still cannot choose to show more than one row.
Expected behaviour: applet shows a 2x2 grid of workspaces, I can switch between
workspaces arranged in a square.
Actual behaviour: applet shows a 4x1 row of workspaces, I can only switch
between workspaces in the row.
