Paolog, thank you for responding so quickly and helping to make Ubuntu
better. I do not have the authority nor knowledge to do so. Hence,
because I could not find a 3.2.8 Maintainer PPA nor would a live CD of
Maverick Meerkat fit this situation, you will have to wait for someone
more knowledgeable. In the mean time, the best I can offer is to
download the newest VirtualBox 3.2.8 via
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/3.2.8/virtualbox-3.2_3.2.8-64453~Ubuntu~lucid_i386.deb
Disclaimer: this is a Pandora's box suggestion but will help settle this
issue.
