PaoloRotolo, thank you for contribution to this bug and helping to
improve Ubuntu. Because I could not find a 3.2.8 Maintainer PPA nor
would a live CD of Maverick Meerkat fit this situation, you will have to
wait for someone more knowledgeable to help. However, the best I can
offer is to download the newest VirtualBox 3.2.8 via
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/3.2.8/virtualbox-3.2_3.2.8-64453~Ubuntu~lucid_i386.deb
Disclaimer: this is a Pandora's box suggestion but will help settle this
issue.
