Hi Mario, I have just installed Mythbuntu 10.10 beta onto a clean drive, with an ASUS GT220 (HDMI to Sony TV 1920x1080, plus SVGA to a LCD monitor 800x600), gigabyte 945P-S3 motherboard, dual core intel processor, 1 GB of RAM, 1TB Samsung SATA HDD and a Microsoft multimedia remote, no tuner cards, SAMBA mounts for my moves on an external NAS.
Note I had to fix the NVIDIA installation as the xorg.conf was not correctly configured, nor was ASLA properly configured and to get sound over HDMI working, I followed the instructions in http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=HOW-TO_set_up_HDMI_audio_on_nVidia_GeForce_G210,_GT220,_or_GT240. II then used apt-get update and then upgrade, rebooted and the computer was sitting there idle and I got the kernel oops. I used VNC to go and submit the bug report from the machine. Happy to provide any other info. Cheers Douglas On 19/09/2010 4:11 p.m., Mario Limonciello wrote: > Hi Douglas: > > What exactly were you doing when this oops occurred?
