My graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti 4200 with AGP8x I solved the problem the same way as Lambros Lambrou did: Install nvidia-glx-legacy and add >>Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "true"<< to the device-section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
