Thats what I've found. br0 needs 15 seconds for initialization (between learning and forwarding stages), and "start networking" waits until bridge is ready before returning. With old init it wasn't a problem, because all tasks were started sequentially, but AFAIK upstart starts jobs in parallel, therefore danted is started before network is ready.
