please look at the date of the issue, it appeared in gutsy, quiete a
long time ago.

I'm sorry, I no longer have a copy of Ubuntu available here.
I am running a mix of Debian testing+unstable + some parts of Ubuntu 
lucid+maverick now.

So I cannot test the issue on gutsy any more, and I also cannot test it
on any other Ubuntu version, since my kernels and nfs come from Debian.

Also, I think my script (see above) should be enough to reproduce the
problem if still needed.

But I think the issue should have been solved in hardy or may be after
some updates of gutsy, but that was just the time I rebuilt my
system(s), so I didn't report this.
