Hi John,
If you forcibly quit exited inkscape, the python script will have been
artificially interrupted at a random point and I don't think the crash
can reasonably be fixed.
The real issue here seems to be that the Cancel button doesn't work, so
I'll mark this as a duplicate of bug #591435. Please feel free to
revert this change if you disagree.
