Do you have a file ~/.cups/lpoptions or ~/.lpoptions? If so, remove
these files. Check also if there is a file named /etc/cupc/lpoptions and
remove it. These are files for personal configuration settings (to be
done with "lpoptions") which override the setting done by "lpadmin".

If you think that "lpadmin" should warn the user about active personal
settings/overrides, please file a bug report/feature request on
