Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: python-profiler

Under Lucid, I had installed python2.5 from source into /usr/local. This
caused the maverick upgrade to fail.

$ sudo apt-get install python-profiler

dpkg: error processing python-profiler (--configure):

Errors were encountered while processing:
 python-profiler
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Work around is to temporarily rename the python2.5 executable while installing
the package.
