Initially my system was unusable, but I have removed fglrx for now and enabled radeon by modifying my xorg.conf (previously created by the amdccle tool)
Driver "radeon" in my xorg.conf where it used to say fglrx.. performance seems surprisingly good with compiz, etc. Its a good workaround for now that enables gnome whilst we wait for fglrx to catch up again -- fglrx fails build on 2.6.35-10-generic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609938 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
