Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

I have no sound in most applications. I am able to get sound on the
command line with ogg123 with -d oss although not -d alsa strangely
enough. The volume control in Gnome shows "Dummy Output" as the only
option available in Output. I just suddenly noticed the problem when
trying to watch something on YouTube in Google Chrome (not sure if
that's related or not, as I hadn't been using the sound system for some
time before that, but I did have sound in most applications at some
point a bit before).
