As this is on Intel 945 and xorglog has the error Failed to allocate
Framebuffer this appears to be a dup of 619663 [maverick] Non-mirrored
dual-screen gives narrow display on secondary monitor. Updating from
xorg edgers ppa as in that bug fixes it for me.
Hopefully Maverick will not ship with this bug unfixed.
