Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: alsa-utils

Headphone jack sense doesn't work properly in Feisty on HP Compaq nx6325. It
leaves laptop speakers on when connecting headphone/external speakers to the
headphone jack.
Putting
    options snd-hda-intel model=hp position_fix=1 enable=yes
at the end of file
    /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
helps, but the problem comes back when I resume from suspend - then only system
restart helps.

** Affects: alsa-utils (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
