I use alternative Seamonkey Ubuntu build on Xubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit from non-offical repository for Seamonkey2 and I do not experience any crashes. You can try installing from : https://launchpad.net/~seamonkey2/+archive/seamonkey2 Pre-release and Testing: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=seamonkey Probably, it will not be never official, because of the way it is packaged, but.. it does not crash. So for workaround untill main repo package is fixed, it is great.
