As I figured out the bug isn't present in normal printout mode, but is present in high quality grayscale, also on the local machine when printed in high quality grayscale, I get the buggy results. Also I found the printout mode setting in openoffice, when setting it to high quality it produces bad results, so as I suppose the bug has nothing to do with having two machines (or not), or what program you use to print the document.
