This bug is probably very specific to the printer and driver which you
are using. I cannot reproduce it, but perhaps the following could solve
the problem:

Open system-config-printer (System -> Administration -> Printing),
right-click the icon for your printer, click "Properties" in the pop-up
menu, click the "Change" button for "Make and model", do not change the
make and model selection but in the driver list choose the
"hpcups"-based driver. After having changed the driver, click "Printer
options", adjust the settings for printout quality, media type, ... and
try to print again. Does this work for you?
