Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: skype
1) lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
Release: 10.10
2) apt-cache policy skype
skype:
Installed: 2.1.0.81-1
Candidate: 2.1.0.81-1
Version table:
*** 2.1.0.81-1 0

3) Thank you for considering this. Upstream bug may be found at:
https://jira.skype.com/browse/SCL-678 What is expected to happen is in
Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat, during a Skype call, when the other party
shares their entire screen, and one maximizes the shared Skype window,
one may see and maximize other non-Skype windows over it.
4) What happens instead is that one may not bring other windows over it,
nor maximize other windows over it. While this is a minor inconvenience,
it is annoying. I am new to Ubuntu Linux and at this time do not have
the facilities to further contribute other than making this bug. Just
wanted to bring to your attention, no big deal. If any more questions
exist, please ask.
