Public bug reported: The ubuntu-10.04.1-src-1.iso file is only 6.5 MB (6,592,512 bytes). The ubuntu-10.04-src-1.iso is 2.5 GB. I mounted the 10.04.1 .iso using a loop device and when I try to access any of the files it gets an I/O error.
I checked the file on http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/10.04.1/release/source/ and on a mirror and they are both the same. Also since all of the checksums (MD5SUMS, SHA1SUMS, SHA256SUMS) match OK, I'm assuming the file was not created correctly. This has happened before: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/234585 but that was on Xubuntu and Mythbuntu. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- The 10.04.1 source .iso file is bad https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/647634 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
