No those PPAs are not installed by default. You might have used the
redshift repos before upgrading to maverick. When you upgrades your
computer to a new version it browses all your subribed PPAS and replace
the ubuntu version name. In this case it moves your PPAS form Jaunty to
Maverick.
To me this is not a bug, I ll change the bug status to invalid.
